The Bill Longmore Foundation is an organisation set up to honour the memory of Bill Longmore and give recognition to outstanding individuals, clubs, and groups from all sports in Shropshire and Staffordshire.
Bill’s memory lives on through this foundation, with the intention of encouraging and supporting sport across Staffordshire and Shropshire. Discover his fascinating story from policeman to philanthropist.

Bill Longmore was known for his unwavering enthusiasm and commitment to sports and the community. In his memory, the Bill Longmore Foundation aims to carry forward his legacy by awarding 10 grants of £1,000 each year, equally split between Staffordshire and Shropshire.
Applicants are open to individuals, clubs, and organisations from all sports in Staffordshire and Shropshire.
