On 9th December 2022 a boxing tournament took place in Denia, Spain organised by Martin ‘Paddy’ Brennan who Bill had supported when he was running the Tenbury boxing club.
The event was an Ireland 🇮🇪 v Spain 🇪🇸 boxing match that was won by the Irish team. The foundation was one of the sponsors of the event and provided a boxing belt for the best boxer of the night.
The belt was in memory of Bill, and also Ariel Leon CAMARGO a young man who was tragically killed whilst riding his pedal cycle to the boxing gym. It was very fitting that on the night the belt was awarded to his sister.
